GADANGME /ASHANTI WOMEN MARRIAGE SURVEY
GADANGME/ASHANTI WOMEN MARRIAGE SURVEY.
TRADITIONALLY SHANTE AND EWE WOMEN LIKE TO SAY WITH THEIR TRIBE MEN MORE THAN GA WOMEN.
Ojekoo radio conducted a research into relationships/marriages for over 5 years. This research got to do with what makes most Ghanaian women happier rather than INTER- TRIBAL MARRIAGE FOCUS.
Types of Research Methods
Business research methods can be defined as “a systematic ad scientific procedure of data collection, compilation, analysis, interpretation, and implication pertaining to any business problem”. Types of research methods can be classified into several categories according to the nature and purpose of the study and other attributes. In methodology chapter of my dissertation, you are expected to specify and discuss the type of your research according to the following classifications.
General Classification of Types of Research Methods
Types of research methods can be broadly divided into two quantitative and qualitative categories.
Quantitative research “describes, infers, and resolves problems using numbers. Emphasis is placed on the collection of numerical data, the summary of those data and the drawing of inferences from the data”. Over the last five years ojekoo radio have been contacting marriages /relationships research by contacting numerous Ghanaian ladies, mothers and some of our sisters via social media and direct communication.
Traditionally, majority of the Ashanti women will like to stay with their own Ashanti men and Ewe women will like to stay with their own Ewe men.
As compared to majority of Ga women.
There are more Ashanti women who feels comfortable being in relationship with a man from the same culture as a PRIORITY WHICH BRINGS HAPPINESS TO THEM . The same goes to the Ewe women they put more VALUE ON THEIR EWE CULTURE through relationships as their happiness before thinking about other thing that can possibly bring happiness into their relationships.
Ga or Dangme women on the other hand got "DIFFERENT" perception in marriage, Ga or Dangme women invest their happiness in "ANY MAN" WHO WILL MAKE THEM HAPPY FIRST". They believe men from outside their Gadangme tribe is the solution to their happiness.
Qualitative research, on the other hand, is based on words, feelings, emotions, sounds and other non-numerical and unquantifiable elements. It has been noted that “information is considered qualitative in nature if it cannot be analysed by means of mathematical techniques. This characteristic may also mean that an incident does not take place often enough to allow reliable data to be collected”.
Every woman either Ganyobi, Ashanti Ba, Ewe and Northern women wants happiness in marriage which is key in every relationship.
Emotion, most Ga and Dangme women has expressed their bitterness against most Ga and Dangme men for not being RESPONSIBLE IN RELATIONSHIPS. I must admit not all Gamei are like that.
These are the key issues Ga women are using to push into "INTER TRIBAL MARRIAGES as their source of happiness.
Most Ashanti, Ewe and the Northerner women concluded that only God is perfect meaning, their Ashanti men, men from the Northern region and Volta region are not perfect yet they will not NECESSARILY use that as an EXCUSE to be moving FROM TRIBE TO TRIBE SEARCHING FOR PERFECT MARRIAGE/ RELATIONSHIP.
In every tribe there ARE WEAKER MEN/MAN TRYING TO GET THINGS RIGHT.
This is another situation that happened in Achimota - Accra, there was a Ga lady who was dating an Ashanti man(a pastor), the Ga lady has a maid(house help is an Akan) before meeting the Ashanti man as a boyfriend. The Ga lady family assisted the Ashanti pastor with a piece of land because he wanted to build a church.
After he bought the land from the Ga lady family at cheap price, this Ashanti pastor kicked the Ga lady out from the relationship and he went out with the Ga lady house maid as a wife now.
There are more single Ga mothers in Osu, La, Teshie, Nungua Amasaman, Ada, Ofankor and Dome-Accra all with run away Ashanti baby father's.
There is a new case reported to ojekoo radio station where an Ashanti man in Accra impregnating young Ga ladies in Osu by USING MONEY TO INFLUENCE THESE GA LADIES.
He told the young Ga lady that if she don't know and she give birth to a girl he will run away and change his mobile number. This man already is married to an Ashanti woman in Accra with kids.
Analytical research, on the other hand, is fundamentally different in a way that “the researcher has to use facts or information already available and analyse these in order to make a critical evaluation of the material”.
Conclusively,no one can has any right to stop you from marrying who you want to be with but the question is WHY DO GA (MAJORITY) WOMEN THINK THAT ASHANTI MEN IS THE THE SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBLEMS?
If you see an Ashanti woman or Ewe woman in relation with either a Ga, Ewe or Hausa man, it can mean either she had bad experience from her own people or she is looking for justifications to satisfy her THE WORRY ON HER MIND but the ratio at which Ashanti or Ewe women does such a thing is very low as COMPARED TO GADANGME WOMEN.
RECOMMENDATIONS : Majority of Gadangme women must learn something from the Ewes, Hausa and Ashanti women concerning THE PERCEPTION OF LOOKING FOR HAPPINESS IN RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE!!
HOW TO GROW POPULATION SIZE :Ga and Dangme population size growth, very poor, due to the fact that GaDangme women are not having more kids with their own men. #Gadangme noryaa is in the hands of Gadangme women#.
NOTE :Unconsciously, the population size of the Ashanti kingdom is getting bigger by the help of Ga and Dangme women daily!!
All credits goes to Ashanti women for loving carefully!!
